Product Manager - Diabetes
Will work closely with sales and marketing to create and implement product line strategy, sales tool development, competitive assessments, competitive sales strategies, and clinical support. Secondary responsibilities include: core team member of product development, proactive management of product manufacturing, sourcing and logistical issues, product life cycle management, branding, and messaging.
- The successful candidate will have knowledge of global healthcare markets and experience developing and executing marketing or sales plans.
- It is important the candidate execute successfully, have strong analytical and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal). The candidate must be able to manage multiple projects concurrently. This individual must be able to operate effectively in a matrix environment, work across functions, and demonstrate resourcefulness, initiative and the ability to work independently. Must be able to influence others within the organization without a direct reporting responsibility.
- Strong computer skills including word-processing, spreadsheets, e-mail and the effective use of presentation software are required. Assist in the developing brand strategy and tactics to grow volume and market share within the XRCM call points.
- Execution of marketing plans for L-F products.
- Provide analysis, input and direction for business & product development opportunities.
- Sales support responsibilities include clear communication of marketing strategies and tactical plans to the applicable field sales teams, responding to sales organization needs and inquiries, and developing pertinent product promotion and sales training materials.
Position Requirements:
Education: Bachelors degree required. Masters a plus: economics, marketing, pharmacist or engineering with an MBA preferred; Diverse backgrounds are encouraged
Experience: 5 -10 years of successful experience in marketing, sales, new business development, and/or other functional departments within the medical industry. At least 5 years with a Pharmaceutical Company or Medical Device market experience preferred, with relevant product knowledge in drug delivery.
