JAMES J. ERICKSON ELECTED PRESIDENT OF ULTIMED

ST. PAUL, MINNESOTA – November 3, 2003 - Mr. Erickson was previously an Investment Officer with CapitalSource, primarily focused in middle market buyout transactions. Prior to CapitalSource, he worked for GE Capital's Global Sponsor Finance Group, divineInterventure's Venture Capital Group and Ernst & Young's Financial Advisory Services Group. Mr. Erickson brings a multi-faceted business background in corporate investments, venture capital, operations and strategic alignment.
Mr. Erickson received his MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management and his BBA from the University of Notre Dame. Prior to his election as president of UltiMed, Jim Erickson served on UltiMed's Board of Directors for two years.
