UltiMed’s Bahl Recoginized at Cardinal Management Conference Columbus, OH, October 6, 2006 – UltiMed’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Chris Bahl, was recoginized at the 2006 Cardinal Management Conference as the 2006 Trade Representative of the Year for Diabetes Care. “I am very honored to even be considered for such recoginition,” Bahl commented after the award ceremony that marked the end of the conference. “The medical industry is very competitive and not an easy industry to achieve such recognition, that in itself makes such an award very fulfilling.” The award is presented to recognize individuals who have worked diligently throughout the year to further the goals of Cardinal Health and their own organizations. Bahl was nominated along side John Lodgeman of Johnson & Johnson and Jim Wildman of Bayer. UltiMed’s broker, Rich Landers of Landers and Associates, was also recognized for his strong efforts in OTC/HBC. Rich was nominated along with David Finley of Novartis and Dennis Telmanik of Proctor & Gamble for the prestigious award in OTC/HBC. “In my 17 plus years working with Cardinal I have never known a Broker to be nominated for this award, I am honored and humbled," stated Landers. “These are exciting times for Ultimed and I am proud to be part of the team.” The excitement was shared by the entire US-based UltiMed team, back home in St. Paul, Minnesota and DeSmet, South Dakota. “Obviously we are very proud of both Rich and Chris,” stated UltiMed Chief Executive Tom Erickson. “Both have worked very hard to continue to grow our business and in our view are well deserving of such a prestigious award,” added Erickson. “This has been an exciting year for UltiMed," said UltiMed Spokesperson Diane Karber. "And, it seems to keep getting better."
