ROBERT S. ELGIN ELECTED TO ULTIMED BOARD OF DIRECTORS
ST. PAUL, MINNESOTA – August 25, 2004 – UltiMed has announced that it has elected Robert S. Elgin to its Board of Directors.
Mr. Elgin retired in December of 2003 after 14 years as Vice President of Operations for St. Jude Medical, Cardiac Surgery Division. St. Jude Medical is a leading manufacture of Class 3 implantable devices, such as heart valves and cardiac pacemakers. His 32 years of business experience includes 22 years of executive positions with St. Jude, Baxter International and American Hospital Supply Corporation. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a BS in Mechanical Engineering.

Mr. Elgin currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Medical Alley and Memorial Blood Centers. Medical Alley is a health care technology trade association, based in Minnesota which serves over 425 member organizations.
